"The Future for Children" Charitable Foundation joined the "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" project from Nova Poshta

"The Future for Children" Charitable Foundation became a permanent partner of the New Post in the "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" program. Having passed accreditation and confirmed compliance with all requirements.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have been caring for children and adults who, fleeing from the aggressor, found shelter with us in Transcarpathia. They receive vegetables, fruits, and dairy products daily, we are solving their needs in clothes, shoes, hygiene products, medicines, etc. We also systematically help the residents of Kharkiv and the region with medicines and necessary things, with whom the Humanitarian Hub of Kharkiv CHP-5 works. Therefore, participation in the "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" program will allow us to accumulate the collected funds specifically for humanitarian cargo because all delivery costs are covered by the New Post," said Oleksandra Novikova (Novikova Agency), head of projects of "The Future for Children" Foundation.

Nova Poshta has been helping charitable foundations and volunteer organizations since the first days of russian aggression. In 2014, the company launched the "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" program, within which volunteers send cargo, the delivery of which is paid for by Nova Poshta.

"We help with what we do best - with logistics. By February 24, the "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" project had 82 participants. Today there are more than a thousand of them, and this number is constantly growing. Nova Poshta is glad to be not just a transport company for charitable funds but a reliable shoulder. Volunteers turn to us when human destinies are at stake, and we always meet their expectations," says Olena Plakhova, director of reputation management at Nova Poshta.

Since 2014, Nova Poshta has delivered more than 694 006 shipments as part of the "Humanitarian Post of Ukraine" program, which is equivalent to the weight of 99Mriya aircraft. According to preliminary estimates, these parcels helped almost 10 million Ukrainians.

Before the war, "The Future for Children" Charitable Foundation took care of children who needed help for family reasons in a boarding school at the Nizhnyobistrovka gymnasium in Transcarpathia. At the beginning of the war, a shelter for internally displaced persons who lost their homes was created on the territory of the gymnasium. During this time, employees of the Foundation and gymnasium assisted almost 500 children and adults, and more than 135,000 portions of breakfasts, lunches and dinners were prepared. The systematic work of the Humanitarian Hub of CHP-5 in Kharkiv was also organized. During the year, more than 250 tons of humanitarian goods were delivered and distributed among the residents of Kharkiv and the surrounding districts of the regional centre.
