Philippe Lamblin Visits the Olympic College in Kyiv

As part of his visit to Ukraine, Philippe Lamblin, President of the Hauts-de-France Athletics League and a long-standing friend and partner of Ukrainian sport, visited the Ivan Piddubny Olympic Professional College in Kyiv.
The visit reaffirmed his long-standing support for organizing sports training camps in France for young Ukrainian athletes and highlighted the importance of strengthening international cooperation. Philippe Lamblin currently serves as President of the Hauts-de-France Athletics League and previously served as President of the French Athletics Federation.
During the visit, the delegation met with the college’s leadership, coaches, and students who participated in the 2025 training camp in France. The discussions focused on the development of Olympic sports, opportunities for international cooperation, and initiatives aimed at supporting the next generation of Ukrainian champions.
The meeting was also attended by Olena Hovorova, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration; Oleh Oriekhov, Deputy Director of the Ivan Piddubny Olympic Professional College; and representatives of the Olympic Dreams project — Oleksandra Novikova, Oleksandra Starkova, and Karen Balayan. Together, they discussed ways to strengthen international sports partnerships and create new opportunities for Ukrainian athletes.
The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to promoting sport as a powerful tool for education, resilience, international friendship, and peace, while further expanding cooperation between Ukrainian and French sports institutions.
